A Precious Stone Set In A Parched Place

✏️ This reading in Isaiah breaks in after God is speaking about how plain the Word of God was laid out to the rulers of the people who would not obey. They felt they had made a covenant that would hold them through death and let them escape hell. Yet, their refuge was lies and falsehoods. 

✏️ We then pick up in on our reading and God states that, Therefore… Or in response to your false ideas, I want you to know, I am personally laying in a specific place a solid foundation upon which you can build your life upon that will not be moved. 

✏️ We understand through other scripture that God is speaking through Isaiah about Jesus Christ.
